First, the good news. There are new pages of Sire (my webcomic about people who get powers and curses from classic literature) up right now on the refurbished site, and it updates Wednesdays. You can read it here:
Now the bad news: Doing that all took up all my free time. I stopped going to conventions, drew way less other art, and skipped some rather serious life events to complete it. (I think I need to start planning my wedding, or something.) I can’t keep up that rate. As it currently stands, Chapter 5 will be the last chapter, and I’m going to have to end it for good.
That is, of course, unless I could literally afford to spend more time drawing Sire. You can get more info here:
I’m sorry if asking for money seems crass. But I need to provide for my soon-to-be-wife and my little birdson. And this is also a chance for me to start to live off my comics, without having an editor tell me what I can and can’t put in them. So in the end it’s up to you whether you think my comics are worth continuing or not, and I absolutely respect your decision.
If you’re under 18 or have no money to give, you can still help out. Please tell your friends, family and the captives in your basement about Sire!
