Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Hey guys! Chelsea and I have a list of cons we'll be attending this year. Some of them haven't opened up for Artist Alley registration, but we've marked the ones where we've already paid for tables. If there are any cons that you'd like to suggest or request, feel free to let me know. I can't make any promises, but we're always on the lookout for exciting new places to visit. Here's the list:

But some of the stuff there...let's just say Smackjeeves itself needed a couple tweaks to pull off what we're gonna do. So if you're expecting a normal webcomic, you're going to be just a little shocked at what you actually will find...

I have, the problem is there really isn't anything around here. And the cons I have been interested in, most to all of them raised their table prices. How much to pay for table and badge does not equal how big the con is. Does that make sense?

Yeah, I won't either, I'm volunteering again for the TD and then helping my friends out at the dealer's room booth, so I'll be around Gen as well.

I guess I hear you, but I find that I do way better at smaller cons anyway. Less competition, and the attendees tend to be more relaxed and friendly.

What booth will you be working at Gen Con? I'll have to stop by. ^_^
